Just wanted to let everyone know that there is something wrong with the comments on my blog, I am aware of it… although not happy about it. Apparently the CommentLuv plugin (which I luved until now) is not showing a link at the bottom of each post which would allow you to comment. If you click on the title of the post or open a post from within an RSS reader, you will see the comment box and all it’s fun stuff. But not if you visit the blog directly. I have no idea why this is.
We are working on a redesign off and on, so hopefully this will improve upon relaunch. But I have no idea. Anyone with experience in this area, please feel free to click on the title of this post and comment (doh) or email me directly at jenny[at]conscientiousconfusion[dot]com!
I disagree with your assessment on Dobson’s boks because I’ve read them and I hear his love for the children coming out on all pages. I believe he is very compassionate toward little ones. Also read Love&Logic and it has good advice, too. And Dobson does not advocate spanking for every little thing. I don’t have time to point out page numbers but I just read it. The thing about bloggers is often you are irresponsible in your journalism. Your pen name is accurate. Confused. And I would probably add “deceived” as well. I do hear what you say about being misunderstood and passionate and all that, but still, children need to submit to authority and then explain things when everyone’s calm and parents need not overreact to everything either. If Dobson’s books are taken out of context I would say that has more to do with the reader, than his writings. Readers perhaps like you and your parents.
